ABOUT US
Who We Are.
Our storied history.
The Lancaster County Medical Alliance was established on April 24, 1928, originally named, the Lancaster County Medical Auxiliary. The name was changed to the Lancaster County Medical Alliance in April 1993.
Our purpose is to assist the Lancaster County Medical Society (LCMS) physician group in programs and projects that improve the health and well-being of people in need in Lancaster County, Nebraska. LCMS has been active since 1898 to address community health issues from a leadership perspective, advocating for both physicians and patients.
Through volunteerism and philanthropy, LCMA supports projects of both our state and national alliances to promote health education, research, and health-related community projects.
Made possible by generous donations and membership engagement, we financially support health-related, charitable endeavors through the LCMS Foundation.
A Message from the President.
Dear LCMA Members,
Thank you for being a vital part of our mission to build a healthier community for all.
The 2024–2025 year was an incredible chapter of growth and impact—from providing hundreds of meals at the Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach, to hosting our inaugural Triple Crown Benefit, a Derby-themed fundraiser supporting mental health services, to building meaningful connections through playgroups and social events.
The Board is excited about the road ahead as we continue to grow LCMA’s presence and make a lasting impact in our medical community and across Lancaster County—a place we’re proud to live, work, and raise our families.
We are so grateful for the time, talent, and generosity you bring to LCMA.
Warmly,
Priscilla Shannon
